Action Group Holdings (AGH) is a Kuwaiti based, family owned conglomerate diversified into various business divisions, including Investments, Real Estate, Hospitality, Oil Services, Information Technology(IT), Logistics & Construction, Education, and Consultancy & Trading.
Founded in 1993, the company started operations in the state of Kuwait as Action Consultancy Bureau providing consultancy and representation services for international companies entering the Kuwaiti market. In 1998 Action Group Holdings was established and the Group flagship subsidiary – Action Real Estate Company was created in 2003.
Today, the Group is present in over 10 countries in the Middle East, Europe and Australia, and employs 2,000 + employees from more than 36 nationalities. In addition, to the Group's headquarter in Kuwait, AGH has two regional offices, one in Oman and in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Souad Al-Sabah (born 1942) is a Kuwaiti economist, writer and poet.
A member of the ruling family and the wife of the late H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah, the Deputy Amir of Kuwait from early 1950’s till 1960.
She completed a degree in economics and politics at Cairo University in 1973 and a doctorate in economics from University of Surrey in the United Kingdom in 1981.
She is a member of the executive committee of the World Muslim Women Organization for South West Asia, and is on the board of trustees and executive committee of the Arab Intellectuals Forum.
Sheikh Mubarak is a prominent figure in Kuwaiti as well as Middle Eastern business and social circles. He has been instrumental in spearheading many real estate and hospitality projects, that have served to raise international standards in Kuwait and the Middle East.
He serves as the Vice-Chairman of Action Group Holdings (AGH), and the Founder and Chairman of Action Real Estate (K.S.C.C), one of Kuwait’s major private real estate companies, with a portfolio of assets across the Middle East and Europe. In addition, he is the founding Chairman of Action Hotels.
